Composition

Type C-9 is a nickel ferrite with a cobalt addition. Types C-30 and C-35 are nickel ferrites with aluminum substitution and cobalt additions. Very exact amounts of cobalt additions are made to reduce the crystalline anisotropy while keeping adverse temperature behavior, and below-resonance magnetic loss to a minimum.

Characteristics and Applications

They offer reduced linewidth and lower g-effective value. Both the dielectric and magnetic loss below resonance are kept to a minimum. Other features include high Curie temperature and good high power operation.
